Boundaries: Knowing When and Where to Draw the Line
A Training for Caregivers with Senta Burton
In this 3-hour interactive workshop, we will explore: the importance of setting boundaries at home and at work; why it can be hard to set boundaries; tips for handling tough conversations with children, birth families and professionals; how to identify wrong signs, before they go wrong.
As a caregiver, there is nothing more important than self-care. Often, the first step in caring for ourselves is establishing healthy boundaries.

Suicidality and Self-Harm: Empowering Caregivers to Support Youth
with Dr. Melissa Daniels, Psy.D.
Please join us for a 2.5-hour comprehensive workshop designed to educate caregivers about the critical aspects of suicidality and self-harm in youth. This workshop will review specific terms and the warning signs that may indicate a youth is experiencing suicidal thoughts and/or self-harming behaviors. Caregivers will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to help identify, approach, and support young individuals experiencing these challenges. By the end of this workshop, caregivers will be better prepared to recognize the signs of suicidality and self-harm in youth, engage in meaningful and sensitive conversations, and offer the necessary support during challenging times.
